U.S. Department of Education Grant Funded Workshop

This online workshop/class is funded by a $3 million Title V Cooperative grant from the U.S. Department of Education awarded to Arizona State University and Central Arizona Community College (CAC). The class may be taken for college credit through CAC or for non credit.

Taking the class for non credit

• If you are an ASU faculty member who has previously taken classes at CAC:
  Contact Janie Sullivan (Janie.Sullivan@centralaz.edu) to register. You will not be charged tuition or fees, nor will you receive academic credit. You will however receive a certificate of completion.
• If you are an ASU faculty member who has never taken a class at CAC:
  You must go through the CAC Admissions process in order to be added to their system. You will not be charged tuition or fees, nor will you receive academic credit. Once you are in the system, contact Janie Sullivan (Janie.Sullivan@centralaz.edu), and she will add you to the class. Do not register for the course online (unless you want to take it for credit) as you will be charged class fees.

Taking the class for college credit

If you would like to take the class for credit, you must go through CAC admissions and registration. If you have already been admitted to CAC you just need to register for the course. You will be charged regular tuition and fees for the class if you take it for academic credit. Online Admissions can be found at: CAC Admissions. Please select the option “student with some college” and the term “Spring 2008” when going through the admissions process. You do not need to enter any information about your high school, but you will need to list at least one college in the section about prior college. You do not need to send your high school transcripts to anyone.
