The Center for Learning and Teaching Excellence provides consultation services to anyone who teaches at Arizona State University. Center staff can help with your efforts in many areas. A few of these areas are identified below.

- Develop student learning outcomes
- Create or refine syllabi to clarify expectations of the student, the instructor, and the class environment.
- Design assignments that help students achieve stated learning outcomes for the class while connecting concepts and skills across the curriculum.
- Align course outcomes with program level outcomes to support program level assessment.
Course delivery
- Develop classroom activities and strategies for the first week of class that set the environment and clarify expectations.
- Incorporate innovative teaching approaches and techniques that help engage students and contribute to student success.
