The Teaching & Learning Collaboratory (TLC) is both a place and a model for consulting.
The Collaboratory, located in the Discovery Building room 212, provides work space, computers, and a printer for faculty and staff. You may also bring your own laptop. Resources available in the Collaboratory focus on teaching and learning topics and include checklists, workshop handouts, examples of work by others, and books.
The Center for Learning and Teaching Excellence (CLTE) staff are available for 'drop in' consultation. We can recommend relevant resources for your topic of interest, provide insight into successful teaching strategies, explore solutions to problem areas, or brainstorm ideas. We will attempt to assist you in whatever manner best suits your needs.
Feel free to come by the CLTE office at the Tempe campus to consult with our staff between 9-4, Monday through Friday. If you would rather schedule an appointment with a specific consultant, please contact that person directly or complete the request a consultation form.
