The Center for Learning and Teaching Excellence (CLTE) acts as a clearinghouse of information to support faculty in higher education and foster excellence in teaching at ASU. In addition to our comprehensive website, our Tempe library contains a variety of books, journals, and monographs that focus on the improvement of teaching and learning, including the use and assessment of active learning/learner-centered strategies such as cooperative learning, case teaching, and the use of technology for enhanced instruction. Books and materials may be checked out for a 30-day loan.
Faculty who wish to reflect on their current teaching practices, create teaching portfolios, and/or explore new approaches for use in their classrooms may meet for one-to-one teaching consultations with CLTE staff members. Additional information on our available services is as follows:
