Jim Richardson is an Associate Professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Alabama. His research interests include structural dynamics, bridge design, and engineering education. Jim helped develop and implement a freshman engineering program at UA in which students attend mathematics, chemistry, English and engineering classes with the same 20-student cohort.
